The midterm elections have come and gone. According to experts, the GOP is now favored to take the House and Senate.
This comes as no surprise to those of us who have been paying attention… but it’s nonetheless an encouraging sign for the future of our country.
GOP Now Favored to Take House and Senate, Experts, and Polls Say
Fox News Power Rankings predicts Republicans will take control of the House. While several political experts concluded that the GOP will take control of the House and Senate:
- Josh Kraushaar believes Democrats have a “fighting chance” to win some Senate races… but will lose their House majority.
- Chuck Rocha thinks Democrats are headed to a runoff in Georgia and Louisiana. He also believes they will lose seats in the House because they have not run a good midterm strategy.
- Scott Rasmussen predicts Republicans will take the Senate. The Democrats will also lose their House majority.
- Emily Ekins says there is a possibility that polls are once again underestimating Republican support… and that there may be more of a red wave this year than we think. She also predicts that Republicans will take the House and Senate (with a narrow margin).
- Kevin Walling believes Democrats are going to have a good night… bucking historic midterm trends in several key races (e.g., flipping a Pennsylvania seat). He also thinks Ron Johnson will likely win Wisconsin despite Barnes’ great campaign run.
- Tony Sayegh says that democrats will “pay a heavy political price” in midterms. Sayegh is a former Trump administration official and a Republican strategist.
At the end of the day, there are many reasons why Americans will support Republicans this time. There are Biden’s policies, inflation, the border crisis, and so on.
Now is the time for our patriots to take over the House and Senate…
Moreover, polling Analysis publication FiveThirtyEight has changed its predictions for the Senate. They’re now favoring the GOP to win a majority in the upper chamber. The publication lists Republicans’ odds of winning the Senate at 55 in 100… compared to Democrats’ 45 in 100 chances.
The new predictions come after reports this November that stated Herschel Walker’s scandals may hurt his chances against Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock. Meanwhile, Democrats are hoping to pick up a seat in Pennsylvania… but that race has gotten a lot tighter recently.
When Will We Know the 2022 Midterm Election Results?
In 2020, it took days for ABC News to declare Joe Biden the president-elect due to slow vote counting in many states. According to FiveThirtyEight, the exact timing of the results depends on the state. Each has different rules for when and how votes are counted.
States like Arizona, Nevada, and Pennsylvania are key to Senate control. It could take multiple days to count all their votes.
If the Republicans take back control of the House and Senate after the midterms… then their first order of business must be to replace backstabbing McCarthy and McConnell as leaders… or else it’ll be the same old same old.
